Job Title: Studio Assistant
Location: Remote
Job Type: Part-Time (10 hours per week, with potential for a longer-term position)
About Us: We are a two-woman interior design studio dedicated to creating livable, inspired spaces for our clients. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and creative individual to join our team as a part-time Studio Assistant. This role involves a variety of tasks that will help to support our design process and keep things running smoothly. The position begins at 10 hours per week, with the potential to grow into a more long-term, expanded role based on business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing Business Email: Respond to and manage general inquiries, set up appointments, and provide information on our design services.
Social Media: Help with the management and growth of our social media presence, including creating visually appealing posts, scheduling, and interacting with followers.
Procurement: Assist with the procurement process by coordinating purchases, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery of products and materials.
Organizing Google Drive: Maintain and organize digital files, design materials, and client documents in a shared drive for easy access.
Maintaining Trade Accounts: Manage relationships with vendors, update trade accounts, and ensure proper documentation for orders, pricing, and discounts.
Requirements:
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficient in Google Suite and social media platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok)
A good eye for design and aesthetics
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Previous experience in interior design or related field preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a small team
Preferred Skills:
Experience with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite)
Knowledge of procurement and vendor management
Experience with social media and influencer platforms (TikTok, LTK, ShopMy)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
