Job Title: Studio Manager
Location: Mostly Remote with Some In-Person Meetings
Job Type: Part-Time (20–25 hours per week)
About Us
We are a small but dynamic two-woman interior design studio dedicated to creating thoughtful, livable, and inspiring spaces for our clients. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a highly organized, proactive, and design-minded Studio Manager to help oversee the day-to-day operations of our studio.
This role blends administrative, operational, and procurement responsibilities — ideal for someone who enjoys keeping creative teams running efficiently while managing multiple moving parts behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
Studio Operations & Administration
Manage the studio’s day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication across projects.
Maintain the studio calendar — schedule client meetings, vendor calls, and internal reviews.
Respond to and organize email correspondence, handle inquiries, and manage trade accounts.
Keep the Google Drive and digital assets organized and up to date for easy team access.
Support project setup, including proposals, contracts, and invoicing coordination.
Procurement & Project Support
Oversee procurement from order to installation, including vendor coordination, quoting, purchasing, tracking, and deliveries.
Maintain and update vendor and trade accounts, ensuring pricing, terms, and contact information remain current.
Work closely with designers to manage FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) schedules, order logs, and budgets.
Track and manage sample requests and returns, ensuring materials are organized and accessible.
Requirements
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
Experience managing administrative systems or procurement workflows
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced creative environment
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with a small team
Preferred Skills
Prior experience working in an administrative role
Experience with procurement platforms, trade accounts, or design vendor portals
A good eye for design and aesthetics
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate based on experience; beginning at $25/hr
